About The Program

Rooted Through Recovery....

Rooted Through Recovery is not your typical recovery program.

Born from the lived experience of surviving trauma, addiction, illness, and disconnection — and the limitations of traditional recovery spaces — this program offers something different: a whole-system approach to healing that begins not with fixing behavior, but with understanding the why beneath it.

We don’t believe addiction is the problem — we believe it’s the response. The response to pain, to trauma, to nervous systems that learned to shut down, fawn, fight, freeze, or disappear altogether in order to survive. Here, we treat the root, not just the branches.

Rooted Through Recovery combines cutting-edge neuroscience with trauma-informed somatic practices, ancient wisdom, and grounded recovery tools. It’s not about chasing perfection or forcing change — it’s about returning to the body, re-establishing safety, and rebuilding connection to self, others, and life.

This is a 12-step trauma-responsive journey, but not the kind you’ve known. Every step is approached with compassion, embodiment, and the understanding that true recovery is felt, not forced. Each part of the program invites you into nervous system regulation, inner reparenting, subconscious healing, and the slow, sacred practice of becoming whole again — in your body, your breath, your boundaries, and your being.

Whether you’re navigating addiction, relational trauma, complex PTSD, or simply seeking a recovery path that honors your entire experience, Rooted Through Recovery offers a homecoming: to your truth, your body, your story, and your future.

You don’t have to do this alone. You don’t have to heal the way others expect you to. You just have to begin — and stay rooted through it.

What's Inside

Each of the 12 steps in Rooted Through Recovery unfolds over four weekly sessions, making space for slow integration, nervous system safety, and real transformation.

Every week includes:

A Mantra

A trauma-informed, body-based affirmation to anchor your nervous system and rewire subconscious patterns. These mantras are gentle invitations — not forced beliefs — that evolve as you do.

A Weekly Reading

Each week features a deep, reflective reading — written to feel like being seen. These pieces explore the week’s step through the lens of trauma, nervous system repair, somatic psychology, inner child healing, grief, boundaries, reparenting, addiction, and more.

A Guided Meditation

Trauma-informed meditations crafted for nervous system regulation, healing shame, reconnecting with the body, and reprogramming subconscious beliefs. Each meditation is designed to meet you gently — even if you dissociate, freeze, or struggle to sit still.

Reflection & Discussion Questions

Ideal for small groups or peer support, these open-ended questions allow for shared insight, storytelling, and connection — without pressure. They’re rooted in compassion, not performance.

Journal Prompts

Four weekly prompts to deepen your personal journey, help you process emotion, explore inner truths, and build somatic awareness. These are not “homework” — they’re invitations to explore what’s alive in you.

What Makes It Different

Trauma-informed: No forced timelines, no shame, no “shoulds.”

Somatic-based: Healing happens in the body — not just in the mind.

Neuroscience-backed: Built on polyvagal theory, attachment repair, and nervous system regulation.

Inclusive & adaptable: Designed for all bodies, all backgrounds, all recovery stories.

Not just recovery — rebirth: This isn’t about going back to who you were. It’s about becoming who you’ve always been beneath the pain.

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.
